Assigned to teach the basic concept of coding and how it works, this Tech Academy assignment I worked on allowed me learn new, basic JavaScript language and how to program different commands using the website Code.org. Before this project, I had little experience with coding and its vocabulary but throughout this project, I began picking up on the different terms used and now, I feel that I know more on programming and its functions. For the most part, all the coding was fairly easy, primarily because of the simple tasks that were required, but there were some components that required a little more critical thinking and some trial and error. Overall, this assignment was a great way to introduce me to coding and is a great benefit as it can teach other young students how to program.
